Do the evolution - Pearl Jam, 1998

Cinq bonnes raisons de regarder cette vidéo.

1° C'est Pearl Jam, donc de la très bonne musique que généralement soit on sous-estime, soit on connaît simplement de nom et ça nous suffit. Bref, de la très bonne musique à (re)découvrir.

2° Le fond est superbe, l'évolution de l'humanité vue de manière bien sombre comme on les aime, surtout quand on est réaliste. Alors cynique, je vous dis pas.

3° Ça date de 1998, soit l'époque bénie où M6 passait encore de bons clips. Eh oui, c'est M6 qui m'a fait découvrir Björk en 97... *brrr*

4° L'animation a été réalisée par les gars de Batman -the animated series. Oui oui, les Batman de notre enfance. Les meilleurs ! Et on y voit clairement leur patte.

5° Le tout, son + image, déchire.

Why should you watch this old video?

Well:

1° It's a Pearl Jam video. And Pearl Jam is a band which, in France is somewhat underrated, except for some music lovers.

2° The story told is briliant. A truly dark vision of the evolution of humanity. You'll like it if you're realistic. You'll lije it even more if you're cynical.

3° It's from 1998, that is to say from when the French TV still played good music videos. Yeah, I can't realize that it was actually TV that made me discover Björk in 1997. The thought makes me shiver.

4° The guys who did this video are the same who did Batman - The animated series. That's right, the best Batman series ever! Plus, their style is easily recognisable here.

5° The whole thing, sound and image, ROCKS.
