Dismantled

First,
they took your innocence.

This moment when something clicks
-you don't know exactly what-,
but you do know nothing will ever be the same.

Then they forbade you to be carefree,
throwing you into a whirlwind of obligations,

duties, tasks, bonds.

Kept you away from the essential,
blinded you from the light.

Bits after pieces.
Wing after wing.
You got torn apart.
Dismantled.
