If a streetstyle photographer asked me who is my style role model, I'd say: "Penelope"!

Ha, I'm afraid of talking about this movie.
Because there is SO much I would like to say.
I fear I might forget very very important things.

This movie is one of those I can watch and watch again without ever getting bored with it.
This movie is one of those which aesthetics combine with my taste so well that I could cry about it.
No kidding.

I know that everyone who saw it (not very much people, I'm afraid)
said it was just a Tim Burton ersatz,
that it was a somewhat cheesy fairy tale.

And I must admit that I sadly tend to agree with that.
But nothing can prevent me from loving - ADORING Penelope.

Christina Ricci has been one of my favourite actresses ever since she played Wednesday.
And this time, I find her so naturally fairy-talish!
She evolves in a gorgeous room, decorated with bold colours and strange home items such as terrariums, a swing, bird cages, Mark Ryden paitings and butterflies everywhere and - last but not least - a huge fake red tree.

That's simple, the fashion of Penelope, both in house decor and clothes, astounded me.
What a perfect work from Amanda McArthur, Bridget Menzies and Jill Taylor!
What a perfect source of inspiration!

The city is amazing as well: sort of a mixture of London, New-York and Paris,
it might stand for the City of your Dreams!

And how about the cute couple she forms with James McAvoy?
What's not to love about that?

Erm... well, I won't say more.
Just watch it and be charmed, or die.
:)
